The ceremonial conclusion of a long-standing initiation into the Orixa tradition: we invite you to a special celebration.

In Candomblé – as in related Afro-Brazilian traditions – the seventh year of the Feitura marks a special moment in the spiritual life of a Filha de Santo. The Feitura is the actual initiation, the beginning of a journey with the Orixás. After seven years, this initiation is ritually confirmed, the bond with the Orixás is strengthened and the place in the community is anchored.
We are organising this Saida to mark this personally significant step for three long-standing Filhas. With rhythm, dance, song and ritual movements, we invite the Orixás Oxum, Iemanjá and Oxalá to show their presence and envelop us in their atmosphere for a moment.

Clothing: Please wear white or light-coloured clothing for this ritual, preferably made from natural fabrics.
