For 20 years, Terra Sagrada has been a place of devotion, dialogue, learning, and exploration with entity forces and Orixás. In this anniversary year of the house, we are delighted to accompany nine long-standing Filhas and Filhos on a Barco do Bori. This is a profound initiation ritual lasting several days—a retreat in connection with their entity forces. To honor their journey and welcome them back into the community, we will celebrate a traditional public Saida dos Caboclos.
We welcome guests, especially friends and family of the Iaôs, as well as other interested visitors to this ritual celebration. Afterward, there will be light refreshments and time for conversation and fellowship.

After our founding in 2006 and establishing the work of our entities, we were able to consecrate the first three altars for the Orixás in April 2010. These three Orixás protect and guide our Ilê Axé Oxum Abalô. In the meantime, all the other Orixás venerated here have also been given their own altars. In this anniversary year, a Camarinha will be dedicated to these three “first” Orixás.
