The material and administrative organisation of the Terra Sagrada is cultivated in a association structure that is run parallel to the sacred structure.

This work is primarily in service of the spiritual assignment, but also enables activities that face social and societal challenges that relate to the community or individuals; for example, Sanzala is one such project.
From a financial and legal point of view, the association is subject to the same standards as other societies, thus creating real and transparent connections both internally and externally. The work of the association makes it possible to spread out the competences and responsibility in forming and developing the Terreiro. The board, a kind of "council of elders", is elected at the annual general meeting. This assigns a managing director with the daily business of the association administration. Due to their functions, Iya Habiba and Alabê Cito are permanent members of the Executive Board.
